Freeze Conditioning Agents
BT-910, BT-915, BT-922, & BT-930
- Weakens already formed ice
- Specially formulated chemicals won’t damage equipment
- Initial freeze points: from -15° F to -46° F
- Includes surfactant blends for better treatment of hydrophobic surfaces
- Application rate, in pints per ton (PPT) of treated material, weather dependent
- Adjust ratios for desired results
- Formulations made of glycol, chloride, or acetate, depending on application
- Available in Bulk Tanks, Totes (330-gal), or Non-Returnable Drums (55-gal)
Belt De-Icers
BT-950, BT-951, BT-952, BT-955, & BT-955++
- Apply directly onto conveyor belts at start-up of belt for set time once temperature is below set point
- Inhibits intermolecular bond between conveyed material and conveyor belt
- Prevents future ice from forming as temperature drops
- Initial freeze point: from 1° F to -46° F
- Adjust ratios for desired results
- Formulations made of glycol, glycerin, chloride, or glycol-chloride blend, depending on application
- Available in Bulk Tanks, Totes (330-gal), or Non-Returnable Drums (55-gal)
BT955++ Belt De-Icer

BT955++ is an environmentally-safe ice crystal modifier formulated to reduce the freeze point and weaken the ice crystal matrix. By weakening the crystal structure, formed ice readily breaks apart to mitigate material slippage on conveyor belts. It works effectively on all types of equipment, such as idlers, rollers, transfers, switches, conveyors, material transported by trucks, and much more.
- Dual Action: as a belt de-icer as well as an ice preventer
- Works in extreme temperatures that plummet down to -46° F
- Available in Bulk Tanks, Totes (330-gal), or Non-Returnable Drums (55-gal).
Freeze Conditioning De-Icer Systems
Standard System Features
- TEFC motor coupled to a pump customized to the application
- Control box is a fiberglass NEMA 1, 4, 4x, or 7-9, based on application
- Mounted on epoxy painted steel base
- Pressure gauge 0-100 PSIG
- Custom application system with engineered nozzles
- Includes check valve and strainer
Automated System Options
- PLC timer programmable to spray multiple, timed cycles based on off-time setting
- Temperature probe activates spray cycles based on temperature settings. Complete with sensor and relay to activate spray only when belt is moving and below temperature set point.
- Can be customized for additional spray points from single system, as necessary
